Tina Kim Gallery is pleased to return to TEFAF New York, taking place at the Park Avenue Armory from May 10–14, 2024.
The gallery will highlight artists from across our roster, featuring works by Pacita Abad, best known for her trapunto-style painting technique. A major touring retrospective of Abad’s work is currently on view at MoMA PS1, and her work is also included in the 60th Venice Biennale, Foreigners Everywhere.
Also featured are works by artists of the Dansaekhwa movement, including Ha Chong-Hyun and Park Seo-Bo, who are part of the group exhibition Geometric Abstraction in Korean Art at MMCA Gwacheon, Korea. Kim Tschang-Yeul’s water droplet paintings and Kwon Young-Woo’s works on paper are also a part of our booth, with more by the latter artist currently on view at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York for Lineages: Korean Art at The Met.
Extraordinary modern and contemporary artists, including Louise Bourgeois, Jenny Holzer, Minoru Niizuma, and Kibong Rhee, will also be part of our presentation.
